The Trustee calls for measures that the use of prefabricated classrooms is only residual

The Trustee of Greuges in office, Emilia Knight, claimed in its latest report that the schooling of students in classrooms wholly or partially prefabricated "should be a solution that the Administration go only as a matter promptly and in any case residual."

The report of the Sindicatura the year 2007 Les Corts referred to in paragraph states that the education institution that includes the use of such classrooms "constitutes a legitimate political", but should be on time while measures are taken to enable the enrolment in schools equipped with facilities definitive.

"The conversion of what should be an exceptional and temporary situation in a normal situation that continues year after year, is a circumstance that can not be admitted and was constantly rejected by the Ombudsman," the report contains.

For quality education

The Sindicatura asserts that quality education requires, first, that schools have the necessary equipamintos according to their characteristics and circumstances.

Moreover, the report reflects that lack of strength of educators attending children with special educational needs has prompted throughout the year 2007 this institution dealt with numerous complaints.

Islamic religious teachings

Also, the Sindicatura has issued some recommendations to the Administration for educational Valencia, within its competence, to promote actions necessary to ensure that students enrolled in Muslim religious schools public or private grant that request it at the beginning of the course receive Islamic religious instruction.

These recommendations have been accepted by the Administration educational Valencia, while reserving the right to show their acquiescence with respect to teachers appointed by correspondence Federation of Islamic Commission of Spain for gathering powers and legal requirements.
